FiLOS Case Management comes in two variants, a ‘Full’ case management solution and a fully integrated light touch document production system called Documanager to suit your needs and budget.
Full Case Management
Our FCM package can be supplied with or without workflows enabling you to decide whether you want a pick up and run system or to develop your own bespoke workflow modules.
Our workflows contain all the actions needed to complete a matter in a Lexcel compliant fashion including all client care procedures, file review reminders, checklists, precedents etc. Full details relating to the individual modules are available in our Brochures.
If you prefer, you can elect to start with a case management system with no workflow and create your own bespoke solution for specific matter types or contact types. You can create/import your own templates and add smart and calculated functionality to them with ease.
Fully customisable ‘Favourite’ modules are available to all case users to allow regularly used ad-hoc actions to be performed.
The To Do lists perform important roles of ensuring that work doesn’t get on top of you, your team, department, branch or firm. Fed directly from cases, the To Do lists display all the actions that need to be done in a chronological order. Users are associated with Fee Earners and as such share their list. Users can have multiple associations if working for more than one solicitor and can have the information displayed in an easy manageable interface. Higher level To Do lists are available for Teams, Departments, Branches or the Practice
Documents from outside the system can be imported manually or via a drag ‘n’ drop feature and this includes emails from Outlook, allowing all your case related information to be stored in one place.
Case actions can be web enabled to allow clients or 3rd parties to view progress via a web portal.
All workflow actions can be linked through to time recording to ensure all chargeable work is accounted for
Our case system supports Word, Excel, PDF, Oyez, HotDocs and Email templates for full flexibility
Compliance is also taken care of with case management feeding the COLP of your firm with valuable information relating to Critical dates, Undertakings and overdue case events.
Documanager
Our Documanager solution is great if you are looking for an integrated document production system without the need for workflows. It shares many of the features of our full case management without the complexity. Templates are easy to create but still deliver a punch with a range of time saving features to deliver accuracy and professionalism.
The DM system grows with you and an easy upgrade path exists if you want to upgrade to our full case management package. All templates created will be retained in the process.
Due to the reduced cost of this option and easy upgrade path we find many firms use this as a method of introducing fully integrated case management to their users. Easy to set up, Easy to use, Easy to administer and Easy on the pocket.
A document management system should do just that, allow you to manage your firm’s documents.
We help you to achieve this goal in several ways. Firstly, any document created from the system is saved alongside the matter or contact and can then be drafted until it is complete. A full document history is retained so earlier versions can be reviewed at any time. By enabling external document import either manually or via drag ‘n’ drop functionality, you have the ability to store all your emails, letters and other documents safely in the document store of the matter or contact.
Additional functionality is available via our Critical Date feature allowing you to create and manage your important case milestones quickly and efficiently with diary linking and Outlook synchronisation.
Our Document Bundling* is another feature designed to make your life easier with the ability to create and manage court bundles direct from the case.
